An extended meditation on the human psyche and its social effects delivered by two fictional theorists presenting divergent lectures 

on the topic at a conference. Each lecture is punctuated by "real life" observations, poetry, and an extended two-part session between 

a patient and her analyst, adapted from D.W. Winnicott's seminal Playing and Reality.
